Which island is your favorite island?

Islands, they tickle this little part of our brain relating to treehouses or pillow forts (aka "fort[s] kick ass"): they make us feel isolated and protected and WE LIKE IT.

What island is your absolute favorite?

Cubadak Paradiso Village is an absolute haven of peace lost in western Sumatra. It takes hours to reach but once there you feel like a Robinson Crusoe. It's interesting to see how one tends to question his/her life, habits & jobs while on a remote and wild spot with very little to do.

Cubadak Paradiso VillageLombok is more inhabited but the view from the top of Gunung Rinjani brought me tears. The effort combined with me realizing how lucky I was to see that wonder made this moment incredibly emotional.

    Gunung Rinjani:) what's yours Mat?
