What to see in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia?

Guys,

I have been to Vietnam last year, but again next month I am planning to be there again.

This time I want to go to Indochina and I have contacted some agencies to suggest me some traveling programs.

My question is: What are the best places to visit in Laos and Cambodia? What should I not miss?

Here is the pre made tour plan: http://www.vietnameseprivatetours.com/tour/14-days-private-tours-to-vietnam-laos-cambodia/

What you guys think? Anything left out?

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

From private tours description, they offer distinctive attractions of each region and country. 3 countries, 5 regions for 14 days tour is relatively packed.

Hard to say you miss anything, probably just spending too short time at any amazing places, for example Angkor Wat near Siem Reap need 3 days for exploring.

For Laos, Southern region is skipped, mother nature such as Khone Phapheng Falls and Li Phi Falls are wonderful!

14 days is not enough to visit all spectacular sites.

    Hi Zay

I traveled to Thailand and Cambodia in 2012 and I had a great time. In Cambodia I personally stuck to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap because I only had five days and needed to hit the essentials but I know there are also some nice costal areas and islands such as Krong Preah Sihanouk and Koh Rong. It all depends how long you are going for and what you want to do. The best thing I did was connect with some locals when I was there. I really got to enjoy Cambodia from their perspective. My friends just cam back from Cambodia and they actually received some great recommendations for their trip and met up with some from a site called http://filos-travel.com/. Might be worth checking out as you plan you trip.

In Thailand my wife and I spent two weeks in Koh Phi Phi, Ko Lanta, Krabi and Bangkok. Thailand was also beautiful. We picked those places based on the time of year (Dec/Jan) we were traveling and the rainy seasons on the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea. I hope you have a great trip!

It is great list of your destinations, but I think while in Siem Reap please don't miss Phare - The Cambodian Circus Show. It is an amazing show!

    Hi Zay,

This itinerary seems to hit up all the main "can't-miss" sights, unless you're really dying to get to Vientiane in Laos or Hoi An, Hue or beaches in Vietnam. (I'd say that you probably don't need to see Vientiane, if pressed for time.) And I'm not sure whether it's your thing or not, but there isn't a lot of opportunity to experience rural places.
