2 nights in Tokyo, 2 in and around Mt. Fuji

Hi ! I want to stay at Shibuya and the budget is USD 100 and twin beds. Desperately looking for some property but unable to find.

Then another help required is any detailed route from Shibuya to Mt. Fuji and an accomodation in the same budget i.e. USD 100.

Any input will be highly appreciated. Leaving on 9th December 2015 :-)

I know it is late. Please give your suggestions. :)

Thanks

- K

we have had great times in Tokyo with AirBnB-reasonable prices, more room with multiple beds and usually laundry facilities. Unless you really HAVE to be in Shibuya, try Takadanobaba (5 stops to Shibuya), Shinokubo Station (4), Shinjuku (3), Yoyogi (2), Ebisu (1) or Meguro(2). The lines intersect at Shinjuku so it is very convenient for getting to a lot of places.

Make sure you get a suica or pasmo card for use with the trains-you can also use them to pay for purchases in some convenience stores-they don't make the trains cheaper but they are time saving.

AirBnB in Japan normally has a lot of listings for twin beds, and actually great low prices. I'd recommend booking though them and staying in a Shibuya apartment, I'm sure you can find under $100 a night.

You might also want to look at Shinjuku - which is close to Shibuya, and has the benefit of the train station being a hub, so very easy to connect to other parts of the city.

I always recommend Fukudaya It was less than $100 but is now a little more.

You might want to consider a "love hotel." You can't (or shouldn't) book them but they can be quite cheap after 11pm. They can also be one of the trippiest experiences you'll ever have.

Hi when I was in Tokyo I stayed in Hotel Monterey Hanzomon, it was a good value for money. Not sure how far or how close it's to the place you want to stay.
