Awesome 2-Week Southeast Asia Itinerary????

I'm looking to plan a 2-week trip in June in Southeast Asia. Does anyone already have a great itinerary? What are the things I can't miss?

Sorry, right after I posted, I saw that this question was specific to 4 countries - much easier:

    - Keeping Hạ Long Bay

    - Mũi Né Sand Dunes

    - Hoi An

    -Angkor Wat

    - Phnom Penh for Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum & Choeung Ek Genocidal Center

    - Kampot pepper farms & Kep for crabs

    - Chiang Mai

    - Bangkok

    - Luang Prabang

    Hope it narrowed it down!

Thanks Carol. Great suggestions. While we've researching, I realized June is the start of the rainy season in Thailand. Based off your year in Southeast Asia, do you think it rains enough in June to delay the trip until year end? · (0 likelikes)

Hi Daniel, the weather is pretty unpredictable. We were in Bangkok at the beginning of June and it was raining an awful lot but then we moved over to Cambodia and were able to enjoy three weeks without monsoon rain. We then avoided monsoon by going to Singapore, Malaysia (good weather - even in Borneo) before going back to Thailand (Krabi, Ko Phi Phi and Phucket) in August and it was still pretty rainy. I guess the safest weather bet would to go at the end of the year but you can't really predict anything. · (0 likelikes)

A day trip to Ko He (Coral Island) is worth it. I thought perfect didn't exist until I saw the beaches in Krabi.

Wow, 2-weeks in South East Asia...there are many many things to include. Based on year-long trip in Asia, must dos in Southeast Asia:

    - A night in Hạ Long Bay Vietnam + the delicious Vietnamese cuisine

    - Climbing Mt Kinabaluin Borneo

    - Batad Rice Terraces in the Philippines

    - Snorkeling and island hopping in El Nido

    - Sunrise at Mount Bromo Java, Indonesia

    - Sunrise at Borobudur Temple Java, Indonesia

    - Jatiluwih in Bali, Indonesia

    - Tea Plantations of Cameron Highlands

    - Kuang Si Waterfall Luang Prabang Laos

    - All of Myanmar

    - Angkor Wat

I could add so many other places but I guess it all depends on the type of trip you are looking for, especially in two weeks.
