Where is the best Dim Sum in Seattle?

I will be in Seattle next week and I am craving some Dim Sum. What is the best place to go for authentic cart style Dim Sum?

Tony, what a great thing to come to enjoy in Seattle. We have great Asian food of all kinds, and lots of Dim Sum options.

Have you ever been to Seattle before? Either way, the best neighborhood is going to be the International District. That's a pretty wide area in which to search, so to narrow it more, places I've really enjoyed include:

    • Red Lantern - Kind of nice, but super good dishes of food as well as dim sum options.
    • Honey Court Seafood Restaurant - I used to go here a lot with my former coworkers--they do standard dim sum and are hoppin' around lunch time on week days.
    • Dim Sum King - I stopped in for breakfast here one day--holy guacamole, so good! I ordered sooo much because they have a $10 card minimum, and it was totally worth it. See? (Pic)

There are other really good restaurants in the ID as well: Thai Curry Simple makes a stellar pad thai tofu, Subsand has great sandwiches/bahn mi (cash only), Boiling Point is great if you want something a little fancier and also incredibly good on a cold winters' day... I could go on! :)

    Have a great trip!

Thanks, Valerie! Some great suggestions here and based on your travel history, I am sure your recommendations are spot on! I come to Seattle every 3 months, so I have been there often but typically stay in Lower Queen Ann and I there are some great restaurants there that I enjoy, but no real Dim Sum! I will absolutely make a trek out to one of your suggestions. I am thinking Dim Sum King! · (0 likelikes)

Ooooh, they're great for macarons! Do you know any place that's good for dim sum, though? That's what Tony's looking for and I want to know, too! :) · (0 likelikes)
