We have often found ourselves at Goat Hill Pizza in Potrero Hill . It's not fancy, but they are good with kids/families.

My absolute favorite casual dining is Tony’s Pizza Napoletana. They have awesome pizza, pasta and gluten free options. On a Friday night you'll even see a dough-throwing demo which is a real kid pleaser!

You can go to almost anything in Noe Valley . It's where people in SF who have kids move to to raise their kids, so it's a very, very kid-friendly neighborhood and restaurant staff are very used to kids :) One of my favorites out there is Patxi's Chicago Pizza for pizza. You probably have to wait in line though, because that place gets packed!

Here are some other places that are kid-friendly in the neighborhood:

    • Lovejoy's Tearoom -- super cute place and you can even get dressed up for it! They serve tea, of course, plus snacks like crumpets and little cucumber sandwiches. Could be an early dinner spot. Very playful atmosphere.
    • Lupa Trattoria -- casual Italian spot
    • Cookie Time -- this is actually a food truck and I think that they're permanently parked at the Noe Valley Ministry parking lot now. Good for some dessert!

If those aren't up your alley, there's like every kind of cuisine under the sun in Noe Valley on 24th St, and everything is good and likely very kid-friendly. Just tell the cab driver to drop you off at Patxi's and go from there!
