Things to do in San Diego for our Hooneymoon?

Me and my Fiancee will be hooneymooning in San Diego in June. We are staying at the Pacific Terrace Hotel. We would love some recommendations for great restaurants and fun things to do. Thanks

An unforgettable thing you guys could do is to drive over to Point Loma. It's just an incredible view of Downtown San Diego and such a remote spot with an amazing view of the ocean from way up. This was so amazing when my wife and I went a few months ago. One other thing if you are renting a car and driving, about an hour or so away is the town of Julian, great day trip. Best apple pie you will ever have.

Congrats! San Diego is filled with romance and is the perfect place for a honeymoon.

Definitely spend an afternoon in Balboa Park - it's very romantic! Many gardens, Spreckles Organ, the OId Globe, many museums. Plan for happy hour sangria (or a fantastic meal on the back patio) at the The Prado at Balboa Park while you are there, and pop into the atrium right across the courtyard from The Prado. I can't recommend the park enough.

Little Italy is a romantic area, full of fantastic Italian restaurants and cafés. Stop by Caffe Italia for a gelato, or for the true Italian gelato experience (blasting Italian music), hit up Pappalecco. Little Italy is busy on the weekends with tourists, and forget parking on Saturdays because of Farmers Market, but it's still not as crowded as downtown. Try to go on a weekday for a more intimate feeling. (Full disclosure - lived in Little Italy for years, so I'm biased.)

Coronado Island is a gorgeous and romantic spot. You can walk the near-perfect beach near the old, famous Hotel Del Coronado and have a leisurely brunch overlooking all of downtown San Diego.

Del Mar is yet another romantic spot. It's a small town with great beaches, relaxed shopping and some good eateries. June would be a perfect time to have lunch on the open deck at Pacifica Breeze Cafe. You'll enjoy very reasonably priced delicious California meals in the sun (or under umbrellas) with an amazing ocean view.

Make reservations (even a day before is usually fine) for restaurants in San Diego. They do fill up.

Editing to add that in June you will likely have some morning "June Gloom" where the marine layer sits over the beaches, making mornings deliciously cool but a bit foggy. It usually burns off by 11 AM. If you want sun, plan your beach/ocean activities accordingly. Happy Honeymooning!

First of all you'll be staying right on the beach in the heart of Pacific Beach there is so much to do here. Do you like seafood? Then head over to the The Green Flash for a romantic sunset dinner. If you want a 360 degree view of the city then drive up to the top of Mount Soledad twice, once in the daytime and then again on a clear night! You can see all the way south to Tijuana don't forget to follow us on Twitter.com/go2sandiego

Go to The Shout House! It's a dialing piano bar in the Gas Lamp district in San Diego. Be sure to get a reservation, but it's so much fun. Great date spot and very talented pianists. Can't go wrong!!

Stay in Downtown San Diego near the Gaslamp Quarter. Petco Park is near by home of the Padre's. They have and entire strip of bars and food places there. Hash House a-Go-Go and Snooze, an A.M. Eatery are good brunch spots. You could also try checking out Coronado Island its a ferry away. Near by you also have SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Enjoy your honeymoon!
