Going on a port wine tour is an absolute must.

All the port wine producers have tours and they are cheap and running all day in the par tof Porto called Vila Nova de Gaia

Taylors Port have one of the best tours in the city by the way.

And I think you should also try the sandwich called Francesinha.

It's a toast/sanwich that is about as unhealthy as you can get it, but it tastes great and is a Porto speciality.

And Porto is an old historical town that is brilliant to stroll through as long as you don't mind some steep hills.

One of my favorite places to visit is the very unique bookstore called Lello Bookstore which also has a nice little cafe on the second floor.

And drop by the Metro São Bento [D] when you walk through the city and take a look at the walls there that are decorated with portuguese tiles.

Walking over the Rio Douro on the Ponte Luiz I bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia . That is where all the Port wine tasting facilities are located. Visit several, they are all good, and enjoy the fine port and views across the river looking back at Porto

    Hello Ibrahim,

there is a lot of things that you should not miss, but let me tell you, if you're a modern architecture lover, there are 2 buildings worth spending a whole day on, both made by Pritzker-winners. It's Fundação Serralves and Casa da Música. Even if you're not much into architecture, you should visit them both at least from outside, the views are stunning. Other than that, it's usual: old city center with great view from Torre dos Clérigos, and don't miss the bridge (take the funicular).

And about the food, you should try their fish. Enjoy!
