Taking a girl trip to Portland, OR. What are the must dos?

We are "mature" ladies (no hip hop bars) with varied interests.  Food it on the top of all our lists however. Best food truck? Best food truck pod? Seafood restaurant?

Planning on the Mt Hood Mystery train one evening and a trip out to Tillamook. But other than that, we are open for a week.

I would say : Japanese Gardens AND Lan Su Chinese Garden. Very different gardens and area in town, worth getting there (and you can check the Rose Garden when you're at the Japanese garden, it's just 5min walk from there)

Also having a tour at the Lone Fir Pioneer Cemetery can be interesting if you want to learn about the area and its history.

As for the food the food truck square on Division and 18th (maybe 22th ?) is full of nice food truck, you'll probably find somethink that makes you drool :)

    Have fun ladies ! :)

Visit insider fave Blue Star Donuts (Voodoo Donuts is a bit too touristy). Depending on where you are staying in Portland - the Waterfront Park Trail along the west side of the Willamette River. Take the Portland Streetcar and visit NW 23rd Ave for shopping and dining.

Check out Brewvana, a craft beer tour company. Rent bikes and rid around-a very bike friendly town. Rent kayaks on the Wilamette river
