Romantic night in Madrid for the holiday

Traveling to Madrid with my girlfriend for the holidays. She is a native, so she knows most places and has been taking the wheel on this adventure, but I'm looking to plan a nice night for the two of us. Anyone know of any romantic gems hidden in Madrid? Hotels, cafe's, anything really! Thanks for any info!

The Círculo de Bellas Artes has a beautiful view of the city. Watching the sunset would be a really romantic thing to do.

I like Asiana. It's a restaurant within an antique decorations store. It only opens at nightime, and it only has 6 or so tables. It has a closed menu.

Steve, there are plenty of great options in Madrid, depending on your budget:

    • Cheap: In Situ for modern European fare
    • Moderate: Casa Patas drinks and dinner while experiencing live Flamenco
    • High: La Terraza Del Casino managed by the great Ferran Adria; for unique gastronomy

    Good Luck!
