Where to go horse-back riding like a gaucho?

Hi there! I am looking for a place to go horse-back riding in Los Angeles, preferably Santa Monica area & around. Not the posh kind of club but more something where you can gallop in Nature, with your hair blowing freely in the wind! I'd like to go riding once a week so preferably not something too expensive. Cheers!

Hey Mathilde! I'd check in with these guys. It's called Foxfield Riding School and it's right near where I grew up. I wasn't into horses, but any horse person who finds out that I grew up in Westlake, says, "omg! you grew up near Foxfield, you are so lucky it's the best place to ride!" So I guess it's pretty good and needless to say I feel like I really missed out on a hidden gem in my own backyard.

I don't ride either, but I love anything equestrian-related and I know Sunset Ranch Hollywood is supposed to be really good. Unfortunately since I don't ride I don't know how expensive/inexpensive they are. Have a blast!

Thanks Courtney, look great! Pretty fun to see it's also a place to record movies & teach actors how to ride a horse! Will check this one too! · (0 likelikes)
