One way Safari?

Hi all!

I'm trying to nail down my Africa portion of my 2015 RTW trip where I will be flying into Nairobi and out of Cape Town. I have decided on the following:

  • Touring Nairobi
  • massa mara
  • Serengeti
  • ngorongoro crater
  • Zanzibar (maybe)
  • Victoria falls
  • South Africa (TBD)

I am looking for a tour company or route that would allow a one way trip that starts in Nairobi and ends in Joburg or Pretoria with the above. Doable? From what I am seeing it is a lot of tours that start and end in the same spot.

Any input would be appreciated!

Shaun

Hi Shaun! This trip sounds pretty insane. I'm very jealous. I stayed right outside Moshi for a few months, so the majority of my connections are from Tanzania, but hopefully I can help a little :)

I think a few companies (as long as they operate in those countries) would be open to a one way safari, but inquire about costs to make sure you're getting a fair price. I went on a safari leaving from Moshi to Tarangire National Park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with Peter Tours & Mountaineering (http://www.ptmtours.com/) and had an amazing experience! Happy to try and connect you with Peter or even my friend Teddy who works at the Stella Maris Executive Lodge for her local suggestions. She is the best!

Few others that I would recommend: Alfred Michael (he's the founder and awesome) at http://vivaafricatours.com/ and Avelin at African Trekk and Safaris (http://africantrekksafaris.com/). Feel free to let them know I referred you and I'm also happy to reach out to them directly for you.

I also knew a lot of people who worked with Ben at eTrip Africa (http://www.etripafrica.com/) so I would definitely check out this option too. Not entirely sure if they head to South Africa, but if not, all of these guys will definitely be able to point you in the right direction.

    Have an amazing trip!
