Don't go temple street! Nothing much.

    For the shopping places,

    Argyle Centre at Mongkok

Sham Shui Po for those IT stuffy

Wan Chai a bit like Sim Lim Square

Citygate near airport also quite big

Flower Market, Yuen Po Street Bird Garden, Goldfish Market at Price Edward there

Stanley Market I've not been there but also many tourist

Those fancy atas shops at Causeway Bay, Central, etc

But but but... most importantly, Apple Store at ifc mall.

Amazing answer, Kai! You're making me really miss Hong Kong. The shopping was the best there! By the way, I'm a community manager here and I've helped you highlight the places in your answer on a map! In the future, you can do this yourself as you answer a question by simply typing the @-symbol followed by the name of the place. Take a look at your map next to your answer :) · (0 likelikes)

The Stanley Market are very over-rated for shopping. Lots of cheap handbags but not much else except cheap trinkets.Go to Goods of Desire - G.O.D. in Stanley Plaza-interesting stuff. However Stanley worth a visit for the lovely bus ride and harbour with lots of little eating places-don't go only for the shopping though. Temple St and Ladies' Market OK if you're after cheap stuff. Blanc de Chine and Shanghai Tang in Central for silk clothing-also do tailoring.
