Dodger Spring Training Hotel & Restaurant recommendations

I want to go to Dodger Spring Training at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, AZ this year and I don't know where to start?  Looking for hotels, restaurants, other fun activities, and any insider info on the best and easiest way to enjoy a spring training vacation in AZ.  Will I need a rental car?

I'm not sure about places to stay, but I can suggest other things. Grassroots Kitchen & Tap , Culinary Dropout , Oregano's Pizza Bistro , Welcome Diner are a few of my favorite restaurants in the area. For things to do, Camelback Mountain is a great hike and honestly sitting by the pool with a drink is pretty relaxing as well.

At Grassroots I love the short ribs. The beans and rice are great at Welcome Diner. You have to get a hurricane to wash it down too! At Oreganos I always get the Big Rig with a chocolate chip pizza cookie to finish. Culinary Dropout has great cocktails, pretzel fondue, and any of the menu items is good. · (0 likelikes)

Yes, you will need a car because Phoenix is a "spread out" city.
