What is your opinion of City Card for Barcelona?

Hi! What is your opinion about City Card for Barcelona? I like the idea and I used it before in so many places (Copenhagen, Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam), but we have only 2.5 day for Barcelona and want to see Sagrada Familia (which is not included in a card) and Picasso Museum (card gives you 20% off). Is it worth it then?  We need to get from airport to the city centre and do a little bit of Metro/buses traveling in the city too.

So - what would be better for us - get the card (it is £35 per person for 3 days and includes transport from airport, but we have to pay for our transport back if we take 3 days card) and pay for Sagrada and Museum Picasso or do it all separately? The extensive tour for Sagrada costs £25.00 per person, which we consider doing. And what is an absolute must for Barcelona in your opinion? Anything on the this list for the City card? -http://www.viator.com/tours/Barcelona/Barcelona-Card-with-Guidebook/d562-2512BCARD

Thanks so much for any help!

I've been on three separate girls holidays to Barcelona, and we've never bought a transport card. It's actually really easy and more pleasant to walk! What I will say is make sure that your belongings are in zipped up bags, NOT in pockets and not left out on chairs/tables. Also a few food/drink recommendations include W Barcelona Attic Ocaña Hotel 1898 and an absolute must is La Boqueria which is a fantastic food market off La Rambla. Enjoy!

Parc Güell! A really nice parc by Salvador Dali with a very good view over the city and the ocean.

I see it's free with the city card!

don't do it! Take the bus into the city from the airport it's so simple and very cheap. Pre-book Sagrada Familia and the rest you can do when you are there. It's not worth the money unless you go to so many different things each day
