Nice spanish food on a budget

I will be visiting Barcelona for afew days, and am thinking about trying some good and cheap Spanish food such as paella and churros. Are there restaurant recommendations?

What other Spanish food should I try?

Spend time in the market at La Boqueriato learn about Spanish food, and ask vendors there where they like to eat. Avoid tourist traps around Las Ramblas

Don´t miss Bodega 1900 and Tickets bar. Very typical, real spanish bars.

    See at: http://es.bcn50.org/

And Dont forget to book, they are always full.

    I recomend you order:

    "Croquetas"

"Tortilla de patata" ( spanish omelette)

"Pan amb Tumaca" with spanish olive oil

    Enjoy....¡Buen Provecho!

    Hi Leong!

My favorites for real local food are Bar Electricitat and Celler Cal Marino (Carrer de Margarit, 54). You can do what the locals call 'vermutear'. Saturday and Sunday at lunchtime they stroll to the bars and have some tapas...

I wrote an ebook about BCN: #BCN - by locals

Find the free download of the Tapas chapter on my page or just look at it by browsing to that blue link here - isn't that great - more totally free ideas ;-)

Have a great time in Barcelona!

Spanish tortillas (omelettes) are delicious, filling and usually reasonably priced.

Tapas are always a good choice too, many to choose from -- olives, meatballs, patatas bravas, chorizo!

You can definitely get some nice Spanish tapas for not a lot of money. We tried Bodega Biarritz 1881 just off the the Plaça Reial and the tapas were delicious and affordable. Not like any of the places on La Rambla itself...

If you like beer, check out El Vaso de Oro. It has amazing dishes (try the steak dish!), great ambiance and outstanding beer.

Hey please check out my Barcelona experience here and especially look at food&restaurant section. You will definitely try out Ciudad Condal for the well known delicious tapas...don't afraid of prices here even it is so popular...tapas prices may vary from 3 to 8 euros...paella may around 10-15 euros... Enjoy your journey:) Barcelona is worth visiting ➡️ http://www.mapkini.com/2014/04/barcelona.html?m=1

Ciudad Condal is my favorite restaurant in the city. Not cheap, mid range and worth it. · (0 likelikes)
