The best time to visit is in late May or early June

Go in the spring if you can. The water falls are all full and beautiful at that time of year. Great camping.

Go in the winter on snowmobiles. Temperature 40 degrees belown and absolutely break taking. Summer is nice also but not quite the picturesque palette

There was a time they wanted to make this place a dam. So grateful that didn't happen. Go to the Ahwahnee Hotel and bask in the awe that only this place provides.

stunningly gorgeous. depending on when you go the waterfalls off the mountains are quite different. the best time to go is in spring when the snow is just melting. by the end of summer it's like a low flow shower head.
