One of my most favorite places. Unlike any other place we have been. Finding your way around takes alot of concetration, so my husband navigated while I people watched, shopped for glassware and bought a lace handkerchief for my daughter for her future wedding.

venice is an incredible city! You arrive by boat and can see the water washing up on the side of the city like waves coming up on the shore. the architecture is amazing, every hotel, restaurant and shop. the food is amazing here. I got a dish of purple spagetti, it looked weird but was one of the tastiest dishes I've ever had!

took a train here from paris. then you take a boat into venice. the overnight train is such a great way to travel. you wake up and you are in a new wonderful place.
