I never feel as if I've arrived in Paris until 1) I've smelled the diesel fuel in the metro and 2) I have shoes covered in white powder from the gravel at the Tuileries. Really there are no words for how breathtaking the stretch from the Louvre to the Place de la Concorde is. Another one of our favorite picnic and relaxation stops in Paris. We visited the gardens almost daily, taking a snack or picnic and camera to relax, people watch, and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Take time to sit and observe: you'll see friends meeting friends to enjoy a bottle of wine, old men meeting for a heated game of bocce, parents Another one of our favorite picnic and relaxation stops in Paris.
