My mother-in-law introduced me to this place, and we had a wonderful meal of small Vietnamese dishes. The people-watching is phenomenal, too -- a fascinating parade of well-coiffed humanity. Our low-volume snark earned undying love from our waiter, and he gave us a free (and delicious) blueberry gelato!

place is ALWAYS busy. make sure you have a reservation or get there early. don't plan on walking in and getting a table.

If you are acting your age and not throwing down like JR usually does on this weekend you'll dig this place.... Make sure to come back in the morning for Farmers Market and a great Sunday vibe.

reservations are a must for lunch or dinner. I always end up fighting for a seat at the bar because i don't get a reservation. Get the green papaya salad, shaking beef and clay pot chicken... those are the staples. after that, experiment a bit... you can't go wrong.

I've heard this place is good, but I haven't eaten there myself. That, and it's expensive.
