Amazing to think that the Regent paid for the construction of these buildings in the mid-1770s in part with a tax on the Colonies, including levies on things like tea. And in response, some guys in Boston took offense to that and threw a party. Kind of fun thinking we're shopping in the buildings that gave rise to the Boston Tea Party.
