Ladies! I hope you're having a blast! Be sure to hit up North Shore and visit the little town, but also check out Sunset Beach, Ehukai Beach, and Waimea Beach. The waves should be big this time of year.

This is not your average snowcone! I counted approximately 40 flavors (Matsumo's special is the Coconut, Pineapple ad Lemon). Bonus? They give the option of combining the shaved ice with ice cream! Seems like Hawaiian chill-out at its best.

Originally opened as a grocery store in 1951, Matsumoto's eventually turned into a shaved ice stand and has become a Hawaiian institution. After all these years, it's still in the family.
