Definitely a hassle to deal with the Hollywood traffic and the tourist crap, but you've got to go at least once to see all the celebrity handprints.

If you only have time to see one iconic Hollywood landmark, this is probably the one I would see. It's stunning inside from the theater to the bathrooms (in which I once got stuck and couldn't get out). I have to admit I liked it a lot better before it had it's facelift a few years ago (it was wonderfully grungy), but it's still a lot of fun to If you only have time to see one iconic Hollywood landmark, this is probably the one I would see.
