These recommendations are great, I agree with all of them! You should definitely go to Cafe Habana (in Soho I believe?)! Some things that came highly recommended but I didn't get to do and wish we had, was walk the Brooklyn Bridge (although it might be chilly now), check out the High Line in the meatpacking district if it's been reopened and take the Staten Island ferry to the Statue of Liberty. If you plan on going to the MOMA, you can get a free pass with a $50 purchase at a MOMA gift store (there's one in Soho too). Ah the food at the Oyster Bar in grand central is delicious! You should go! Awh I wish I could have gone with you. If you can squeeze it in, I've heard about this new interactive show, called Sleep no More, where instead of sitting there watching a performance, you get to walk through a house and each room has a scene acted in front of you and it's based on Macbeth. Also Avenue Q was one with great reviews but sadly we didn't get to see. I found it cheap to buy tix off the Playbill site, although I think you need to be a member, but it's free. And then of course, Central Park! I don't know how nice it would be right now to be walking around in the cold, but if you can deal, it's so well laid out and such an escape from the crowds and the bustle. The Bethesda Fountain and Terrace is beautiful and so is the walk leading up to it (called the Mall) with the elm trees overhanging :) That's all I can think of for now that you would probably like, and I'm sure you'll discover so many more things yourself!… see moresee less

We went to the Empire State Building late at night (maybe 11 or 11:30). We walked down after we saw Jersey Boys. It was perfect because there were no lines....but you could see all the ropes for the queues, and they went on forever!!

do this if u want a good view over NYC, but i would say: choose between top of the rock or empire, not worth to spend your time on both.
