Hard to imagine this stats, but the Redeemer is the largest Art Deco statue in the world 130 feet tall,98 feet wide. Made of soapstone & concrete. Design was by a local engineer named Heitor da Silva Costa. Sculpted by Paul Landowski. An icon for both Rio and Brazil.
