$2.25 subway fare each way from near our hotel. Largest metropolitan zoo in the United States, comprising 265 acres of park lands. 4000 animals, 650 species.

I'm quite a fan of zoos, so really keen on doing this if anyone else is interested? Although to do this right, it'll probably take up most of a day.
