So much better in Japan than in the US. The "Shiro" is a must-try, and the coffee cream/jelly-filled ones are fantastic (neither of which I've seen in any California Beard Papa's.)

i've been to tokyo but missed Beard Papa's. I've heard they are much better than their rival Moustache Mama's.

Might as well check out the bakery in it's original country. They had special Japan only flavors last time I was there in 2010.
