This place is great. They take real pride in their old school (pre-prohibition) cocktail preparation. Don't try to order a vodka drink here, they might show you door. This place is so legit! The Pinot noir from Otago is amazing and the Chardonnay and Pinot Gris and is pretty special as well. Stock your cellar now, there is not a lot of planted acres in this region and when the world finds out it will be gone.

Great place for an after-dinner drink. They have a selection of the popular favorites and classic cocktails as well. Nice late-night dinner nibbles too--like spicy yucca crisps or a truffle platter. Beautiful roof-top seating available.
There's a reason why this place can get away with having only one type of pizza a day, be opened 5 days a week only for several hours a day, and be on vacation all the time, yet still have ridiculous lines when they're open. definitely a cocktail or bubbles option for the view if the weather cooperates. beware of the Veal and Lobster Sandwich if you are on a budget. It is too delicious to pass up but it will leave a dent in your wallet...$42. Yes...I said veal and lobster and bread.

The 24th and Mission location is where I managed to snag a quesadilla 4x the size of my head -- the quesadilla para dos is actually more like quesadilla para ocho! Oh, and their green sauce is amazing, especially at 3 AM.
this place is awesome. Order at the counter... find a table... if it's nice you can sit on the picnic tables outside. But the food is way more boutique than most "order at the counter" type places. Reminds me of North End Caffe (in Manhattan Beach). Last time i was at the Whoa Nellie Deli, the this place is awesome. Not in Mammoth, but in the gas station in Lee Vining. Great food and great fun, having a quality meal at a gas station. If you're making a drive to June or a scenic drive up the 395, definitely stop in.
