They "request" $20 at the door as a donation. i've never tried, but i'm sure you can bypass that, but i'd recommend putting something in the pot. Let's keep this place cool!!…see moresee less
Few experiences in life are more exciting than seeing this company in person. While they have great performances all year long it's probably The Nutcracker for which they're best known.
Well, I only want to call in if we happen to be in the area or whatever. It's not on my 'must do' list. I mainly only want to see it because of all the scenes from famous films that were done here. Carlitos Way and The Untouchables being 2 off the top of my head.
i've been told by a guy in work that michael jordans steak house is amazing here. its got a massive window that looks down on the main area while you eat.
OK, I'm going to say it: This is the most beautiful art deco building on in the world. Saw my very first movie ever here--don't think I was really old enough to appreciate the architecture, though.
In a city full of wondrous places, this is among its best attractions. While it's lovely just about any time of year it's incredibly special in the fall.
cheapest pLace to ice skate. there's something surreal about ice skating in NYC. It can be quite romantic too. :) I ice skated in Central Park, but it's more expensive there. DON'T ice skate at Rockefeller, it's expensive AND the ice rink is tiny.
We went to the Empire State Building late at night (maybe 11 or 11:30). We walked down after we saw Jersey Boys. It was perfect because there were no lines....but you could see all the ropes for the queues, and they went on forever!!
