Takes at least half a day if not longer. But ABSOLUTELY worth it. Make sure you do a guided tour. Well worth the price. Make sure to walk over to the Ile-St. Louis which is connected to the island where Notre Dame is by a footbridge. Less tourists, better place to grab a bite or ice cream (see Berthillon) and a cool neighborhood.
Food & Tapas market in Chueca neighborhood, upstair they have a nice roof terraze with restaurant. You can buy fresh fish in the market and they will prepare it in the restaurant on the rooftop! nice idea!
Love this city. A great place to start your adventure in Spain. I recommend checking out the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, it's the largest bullfighting arena is all of Spain. After a few days in Madrid it's great to take the train out to the outskirts and to small towns like Seville.
the fireworks display at Disneyland is crazy. They do it every night. If you can stay for it, it's worth it. It's like fourth of July every night. i wonder what they do on the Fourth of July....
Now this is going to be a stunner! The equestrian events are going to take place right here (not to mention some running events). How gorgeous is that going to be???
