If I lived in this neighborhood I'd read every book on the shelves just to come here. I don't think it gets more stunning than this.

If your hungry, super cheap and fast, two hotdogs, and a papaya drink (or whatever flavor you want) for about 3-4 dollars! Some have closed so make sure you check before you go. Or, Chris and myself love eating street cart food yum!

Known by locals as "BAM" this place produces some incredible shows, for instance Cate Blanchett in "A Streetcar Named Desire". I've seen some great things here and would highly recommend checking it out while you're in town.

It's in Brooklyn so it may be a hike, but I always recommend it to tech people because I believe it's NYC's only restaurant that opened via a Kickstarter campaign. (A clam bar in Brooklyn will change this soon, though.) And it's good!
