Legendary rumor was that the architect Postnik Yakovlev questioned whether he would ever create such a beautiful building again. The original cathedral was actually painted white with touches of gold leaf.

Affectionately known as The Soffia, this museum is the home to some terrific Spanish art, most notably, Picasso's Guernica. I had one day in Madrid and realized the museum might close before I got there and once I'd made it was literally inspired to tears. Well worth the emotional outburst.

Nice city!

Couldn't visit here during my visits to Madrid. Next time!

It is the only tropical rain forest in the United States National Forest System. There is over 200 inches of rainfall here!

I am going on my next go round. I missed the tour bus to the falls and it was so disheartening. The comments from those whom have experienced it gave me goosebumps.

Named for its resemblance to the Morning Glory flower, this natural hot spring's appearance is actually caused by bacteria. Sadly, the spring is being diminished by the selfishness and vandalism of tourists.

It's a few hours south of SLC, but the Angels Landing Hike is amazing.

My brother stayed at Mandalay Bay when on business once and when he showed me the pictures, I totally wanted to go too!
