This rock is called "Queen's Head" for obvious reasons and is an iconic symbol of Taiwan. There are several interesting rock formations here so be sure to check them all out.

I didn't see the zoo but the gondolas were fun

A must for their famous smoked meat sandwich. Surly, old school waiters, huge piles of cured, smoked meat. Good times.

Many people will say Union Square has the best shopping but, I disagree. I think Haight does- it has funky shops, fantastic restaurants and bars, Amoeba music, Ben and Jerry's, vintage clothing stores, and Golden Gate park is at the end of it.

My Good friend Noot had a shop at this crossing called "Love Of Ganesha"

Must visit but feel sorry for the neighbors. Wonder if the city gives them some type of financial stipend for putting up with tourist.

Saw the Panda's the first year they arrived. Amazing. Have to bring the kids!!

I was here quite a long time ago but it is still so memorable. It was the middle of winter and I was with good friends over a weekend from NYC. I remember the friendly French vibe coupled with the true beauty and vibrance of the city and walking for miles in mounds of snow. Definitely take some time to walk around the mall. It's quite large, but I'd recommend heading over in the direction of the capitol, or going over to the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Memorial area.
