This is part of a stretch called the "Highway of Waterfalls". The name for this one translates to "Devil's Cauldron" which is enough to keep me from going to the edge!
You can literally make a deal with the devil here since rumor has it you can see his face (also known as Pan) when you look via the suspension bridge. (Insert scary laughter here.)
It took 33 years to complete this church which was inspired by a sighting of the Virgin Mary. It's one of the places in the world I'd most like to visit.
Traveled here while on a month long trip around Ecuador in 2010 with my university (ETSU). We decided to make the trip into Colombia specifically to see this church.
