This is a full-day or half-day trip - there are dozens and dozens of temples here, and lots of history, because it was the capital of Japan during the Kamakura period.

You can't tell from this photo, but this sacred spot is popular since it comes the spiritual with the usual... surfing!!! Yes, you can surf just south of Tokyo in Kamakura.

A really good place for a day trip just outside of the city.

Where's Fenway Park?

An annual event on the bridge that is a big (free) festival of fun, food, activities. Rumored to have been cancelled in 2012 so check the calendars if you're planning to visit.

This sign is perhaps the only thing I remember from my last trip to Vegas! Interestingly, this sign actually sits in the town of Paradise (vs. Las Vegas proper) and is also considered to be the official southern end of the Sunset Strip.
