Lives up to its reputation

They actually have great food here, especially for a diner. Bit of a scene, though as is everything on Sunset.

It is FREE to visit Hancock Park and the La Brea Tar Pits. There is a fee for the museum. Metered parking is available on 6th Street or on Wilshire (9 am to 4 pm only, read signs carefully). Paid parking is available behind the Page Museum off Curson, or in the LACMA garage off 6th Street.

Outside exhibit, next to LACMA. Worth a walk around.

The La Brea Tar Pits are an awesome place to stop by after visiting LACMA.

There is a great USO if you are a Military family and have a long layover. They treat you like family, hot showers, food, movies, internet!

The ocean views are enough to bring me to this hotel. Add in a little luxury and a spa, I'm there.

If your heart's on the east coast but you're getting married on the west, there's no more glamorous or elegant place than Shutters. And who knows? You might even have some celebs end up at your wedding!

Yes please! This place is the best for just walking around and the movie theater is gorgeous :) plus farmers market is right next door and they have a chipotle and an apple store :P

One of my favorite hikes in Malibu. The trail ends up at a little waterfall. It's also not a very difficult trail but give yourself about 2 hours as you'll probably want to stop and take photos!

maui was beautiful and they have lots of great hotels right on the beach. it reminded me a lot of malibu.

Go all the way to the top of the deck for an amazing view of Central Park and the upper west/east sides.

lots of fun here although there is no worse feeling than throwing beads at a girl and she makes no attempt to catch them.

There's nothing like meandering down Bourbon street with a frosty Hurricane in one hand, stopping here and there along the way. Drawn in by a blistering guitar riff here, a brilliant sax there. The musicianship was so staggeringly brilliant, I was blown away.
