one of the best places i've ever been. walking down these streets until you reach the water is magical. you really get a feel for barcelona. it's culture and it's beauty.

One of the best hostels in Europe, if its still around is called 'the Kabul' - Its about 500m from the bottom of Las Rambas in a small square offshoot path. This was the best hostel for fun & meeting people! Highly recommend it!

If you can, try to get a tour of Lucas FIlms here. It's where all the magic is made.

@Robert: The Letterman Digital Arts Center is amazing. Caveat to getting a tour is that you have to be invited by an employee. A friend that works there gave me a tour a year ago and it was such an amazing place!

Paris death day!

In the winter this becomes a gorgeous market complete with an ice skating rink. The park itself is almost 200 years old. So beautiful!

You've got to love men in kilts! This is the famous Edinburgh Tattoo which is essentially a giant bagpipe festival.

Thousands and thousands of people crowd the streets of Edinburgh to celebrate the new year and sing Auld Lang Syne. You'll need tickets so don't show up without them!
