took a train here from paris. then you take a boat into venice. the overnight train is such a great way to travel. you wake up and you are in a new wonderful place.
This is part of the famed Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim hike. While it may be the Grandaddy of hikes, it's not for everyone--the Canyon can be relatively punishing so just make sure you're prepared.
there is nothing like standing on the edge of a cliff so high that it doesn't even look real! as spectacular as it looks in photos you've seen, just wait till you see it in person!
i love rollercoasters and magic mountain knows how to do it. for roller coasters i think they have the best. i also notice after i leave the park and go to bed i still feel like i'm on one of their rides.
I was just here a few months ago and lucked out because there was a terrific arts festival tucked into the woods. You can imagine the combination of clean air, majestic trees and crazed children with painted faces darting around you as a magician keeps everyone occupied. if you go in the off season you wing your trip and just show up to a hotel and book on the spot. but if you try this in the summer you might end up sleeping in the colloseum
Such a beautiful park located right on San Francisco Bay. I always want to watch a homer fly into the water. If you’re here you’ve got to try the Gilroy Garlic Fries. There is nothing like them anywhere else. Warning: they've got some kick!
don't be afraid to ask the cab drivers in vegas where the action is. they know what's going on and have the inside scoop. They've also seen it all and can tell some amazing stories.
Great place for all the sensory overload! I don't gamble, and I'm too cheap to really enjoy the strip clubs, and I still love Vegas! Great energy and excitement, and the resorts' themes and design are amazing. Spend the day just strolling through the hotels and being amazed.

I loved this museum. It is full of incredible art & inspiring quotes from Van Gogh throughout the building... Pretty sure I still have them in a notebook somewhere. If you go, get there early and you'll be glad once you see the line of people waiting to get in. One of my favorite museums ever.
