Our concierge says... "A multi-story boutique shopping experience in an historic hotel facade. Make sure you check out the rooftop bar and lounge."

This is shopping for when you've "got it all going on." Definitely for the cool kids, but also a great look at this modern phenomenon of branding & concept stores. And yes, you can wear your sunglasses at night here.

I'm a big fan of shopping in style and this is all about the Art Deco design. And if you're in the market for luxury, it is known for the high-end luxury shops.

There have been more than a few trips that I've come home from a trip with a suitcase full of shoes, so why not shop at the largest market in Thailand? Known as J.J. (part of the JJ Mall), over 5000 stalls of everything imaginable including your own live animal. Try to pack that.

I'm guessing this fantasy isn't limited to girls, but who wouldn't want their own personal butler and a freshly ironed newspaper each day? This hotel is the height of luxury and indulgence.

Only a Native American princess would set out to find a private place to bathe and just happen upon Mulnomah Falls! 600 feet of stunning nature, think she did well. About a 30 minute drive east of Portland.

Everyone knows that any geisha (or courtesan) would never refer to herself as anything less than a woman of art. Much of this area has been declared a preservation district.

Great little boutique hotel spa! Can't wait to go back. If you're lucky the restaurant next door still has chai creme brûlée!

A definitely must for a girls-gone-wild-at-the-spa weekend. Packages like Embrace, Exhale, Escape, Innovate make me nod and say yes, yes, yes and yes.

Located in Cardiff, this arcade was built for access between two major department stores in Cardiff (late 1800's). Still going strong, take note of the beautiful Venetian windows. The storefronts are still the originals.

I love the look of these Asian coastal communities. Can't wait to experience it myself. Perhaps next year.
