Siam Square has something to offer for every taste, whether you like expensive brand names (Siam Discover, Siam Center & Siam Paragon), cheap, fake copies of expensive brandnames (MBK) or trendy fashion at low prices by lesser known labels (in the evening, the area opposite MBK on the street market)

the grounds here are spectacular. Check with your hotel concierge before you head over though, to make sure the palace isn't closed in observance of one of the many holidays

Truly one of the most rewarding experience we have ever had. Instead of riding elephants or watching them do tricks like caged animals, you care for rescued elephants-- feeding them, bathing them, etc. These are incredible creatures and the workers at Patara understand and respect them. Must go!

We were blessed at this temple by a monk. It was awesome. Definitely worth the trek up there.
