Somehow every time I've made this drive I've screwed up and ended up driving at night...and yet somehow it was still stunning. Not a ton of diversity in it (not like you'll be going through lots of towns or residential areas), but it's still gorgeous.
HI Olav, We stayed at the Excaliber in Vegas in August. It was great. Cheaper if you book online than when you get there. Watch for deals. We even got an upgrade when we got there. Four pools which are the best in Las Vegas. Downstairs in Dicks restaurant. You go there to be abused. We had so much HI Olav, We stayed at the Excaliber in Vegas in August. It was great. IMO, kicked Legoland's ass. Thru the eyes of 3-year-olds (at the time), as well as a 42 year old. Legoland good, but Sea World better. Surprise of the visit: Pets Ahoy dog and cat show.
