Make sure to walk over to the Ile-St. Louis which is connected to the island where Notre Dame is by a footbridge. Less tourists, better place to grab a bite or ice cream (see Berthillon) and a cool neighborhood.

Go in mid-morning and walk along the Seine, maybe ride a boat, and climb Notre Dame to say hi to gargoyles.

My feet hurt at the end of the night. They really did. LOL

It's essentially just a mini Target, but still, I could spend hours here. They usually have supermarkets as well as clothing, cosmetics, etc. It's a great place to pick up incidentals.

If I could get on plane right now I would be there.

It is amazing to eat in the restaurant on the first level of the Eiffel Tower, but extremely pricey. Don't miss the light show every night!

1982 - Halls Mirrors and enormous garden...too many tourists then!

Definitely a must see. It is so magnificent. The hall of mirrors is amazing and the gardens are of course, so beautiful.

The detailed carvings are much nicer in person.
