By far the best dining experience I've ever had. I know it's pricey, but I had nine amazing courses over a relaxing five hours in gorgeous Yountville. Well worth it.
Located in the Trump Tower, Jean Georges is also culturally significant, having been mentioned in many popular TV shows and movies. It's a huge restaurant, but it still takes months to make a reservation. One look at their specialty dishes and you'll know why.
I try to eat here every time I’m in New York, (I love sitting at the bar). Tom Collicchio does amazing stuff with seafood, and the oysters are always phenomenal. My wife can’t get enough of their insane desserts-- try the toffee steamed pudding with fresh made rum-raisin ice cream.

Pineapple Grill is dishing up great Pacific Island cuisine on the 18th hole of The Bay Course at Kapalua Resort. If you ask me, it's a hole in one (sorry, I had to do it).

Might be my favorite place in the whole city. You could swear this place has been here for a century, but it's only been here since 1997. Getting a table can be a bear, but the food is worth it. Great spot for celebrity sighting, too.

Murray's is one of my favorite stores in the city. It's relatively small and always incredibly crowded so if you're claustrophobic forget it. They have this great glass cabinet in the back where you can see the cheese aging (at least that's what I assume it's doing back there).
I could spend entire days going through the stock at the bouquinistes. Full of vintage magazines, prints, advertising, etc. this is a great place to pick up a truly one of a kind souvenir. Just make sure to stay away from the vendors near the Louvre who sell mostly re-prints you can get anywhere in I could spend entire days going through the stock at the bouquinistes.
