Honestly one of my favorite things about London. I've been on many city's subways and none compare. So clean, well lit, so many stops, and easy to navigate.
See the long thing on the beach down there? That's actually a ship that was chased down by the Greek Navy after it was suspected that there was "wine, tobacco, and women" on board. Guess they thought this wasn't a good combo!
Don't go to the main tourist area of the wall, get a ride either on your own or with a hostel to one of the more rundown areas and hike for hours along the wall. Careful though, it gets rough!
If you want to go see this hotel and be very sophisticated, make a reservation for their tea service. Taking a tour and asking to go see the gym/spa and pool is worthwhile if you make it over here. When to Go: Pre-monsoon (March or April) gives you the rhododendrons in bloom and lots of climber action, but post-monsoon (November) gives you drier weather. Go with guide services that use local Sherpa guides, cooks, and porters—it’s part of the experience.
Munich's biggest public square, is the centre of social activity in the city. Check out the Glockenspiele with cute figurines. Forget what time the figures dance, but you shouldn't miss that when you're there.
Munich (Muncheon) is a fantastic city with great museums, squares, restaurants, parks and hotels. Being in Marienplatz at Christmas is a never to be forgotten experience.
This, in my opinion, is one of Paris' most interesting places and certainly one of its most interesting parks. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor actually maintained a house in the Bois where I believe they lived out their last years. After having been dormant for centuries, the Chaiten Volcano suddenly erupted in 2008, causing major damage to the small town below it. Apparently the lightening here was caused by the static charges in the ash.
These are the stairs up to the Bromo volcano but that doesn't mean you can always go see it. The government issues warnings during periods of high volcanic activity so check the website before you go!
