This was built in 1925 and remains a lovely, scenic place for a ceremony. Plan carefully, though; they only allow wedding during certain parts of the year.
Arguably the best terrain in North America Squaw is flashy and fun, albeit a little annoying on busy weekends with tools from the bay area... but the locals are pretty cool and fun to watch blast KT-22 and the Palisades. Home of the 1960 Winter Olympics this place is worth the visit... This bridge leads from Big Sur to Carmel and is also sometimes known as the Rainbow Bridge which I completely get: it links two of the most beautiful spots (Big Sur to Carmel or visa versa) with incredible spirit and magic.
The Post Ranch Inn is defiitely in my very active dreamlife imagination. I love Big Sur and have had drinks at the outdoor patio here and it belied my most romantic imagination.
