Ghibli Museum is a must, such a fantastic place. It is not so much a museu, as it's a large Ghibli-esque designed building with multiple floors and interactive museum displays.

Definitely if you're going with Darya.

Dedicated to the art of animé, this museum is great if you're traveling with kids.

One of my favorite places

Built in the shape of a fireman's hose as a memorial to firefighters from the 1906 earthquake. You can either drive or walk to the top of the hill then climb the tower.

So wonderfull

Crazy architecture and some really cool exhibits if you're into music and sci-fi. Nirvana, Avatar, Scary movies, and an instruments playing lab were the highlights while we were there.

music museum. will be fun for the adults and kids alike...

Must see for music fiends.

It was cool. When the restaurant turns around, you can find notes on the window seal with a crayon, so grab it and say hello to the curious kid who left it there for you!

I really need to check out the top of Ye Olde Space Needle.

If you've not been, the Rem Koolhaas / OMA designed building is fantastic.

getting better every year.... the remodel is substantial. Go SAM.

Must go to the first ever Starbucks just to say you've been there :)

I've been here before and will do so again. I also enjoyed all the coffee bars around there.

I know you like firsts, so visiting the very first Starbucks is a must!

The pantheon feels most special when you get to experience with few people around... There's no lines, but there are people here all the time so it's another one of the places that you might consider checking out early in the day...

Pretty cool. Kind of a quick stop. Not TOO much to see.

Inside the basillica.

Beautiful, but have sad memories of a lady sitting inside holding her deceased child and mourning. A scene not easily forgetton. Make sure you climb up to see the gargoyles up close.

The Louvre - Paris

This is a vacation all by itself, one could spend months in here, Don't sit outside and lean on the glass pyramid, It is'nt allowed as we found out., even for a picture.

enjoyed the architecture and construction. Kids enjoyed doing the "rubbings". They still have them framed in their homes.

Lots of small spaces where famous people are remembered, then it opens to the large open space in the photo.
