This is one of the most beautiful parts of London by far and where the whole city gathers to watch big events together on giant screens. A trip to London truly isn't complete without seeing it.

This particular one is technically installed outside of the train station to look like one. One of my favorite things in London was climbing the dome at St. Paul's

Second largest dome in the world. Stay for communion. Eat lunch in the cafe downstairs.

Went on London Eye the second day it opened!

Never had time to go on it when I've been in London before. Will go on it someday.

Consider walking around the south side of the walls around the Vatican, seeing the relationship of the piazza to that area... There's not much north of the Vatican except a touristy shopping district...

Vatican City

it seems like a lot of work to go inside...i just want to visit the outside...lol

Make sure to walk over to the Ile-St. Louis which is connected to the island where Notre Dame is by a footbridge. Less tourists, better place to grab a bite or ice cream (see Berthillon) and a cool neighborhood.

Go in mid-morning and walk along the Seine, maybe ride a boat, and climb Notre Dame to say hi to gargoyles.

I love Paris in the springtime. I love Paris in the fall. I love Paris in the summer when it sizzles. I love Paris ANYTIME.
