Go in the winter on snowmobiles. Temperature 40 degrees belown and absolutely break taking. Summer is nice also but not quite the picturesque palette

This is an all day activity. It's a long drive. I've had a few couples almost ruin their relationship because they didn't realize how long the drive is.

Beautiful drive, many stops along the way

Go on a day when they host Open Houses... and go into some of these properties. Simply amazing!

Went here a few years ago. That room they have with the gigantic aquarium and the tiered viewing area is pretty awesome.

get down to the water near Presidio and Chrissy Field (grass field right on the water--any taxi driver will know it). Walk as far as you want from there towards Golden Gate Bridge. on the dirt path near the water. Food and 'services' close to the bridge.
