This place is gorgeous! They have an amazing array of plants and flowers and then, after you're done, you can have some delicious tea and look out at a koi pond.

Must visit but feel sorry for the neighbors. Wonder if the city gives them some type of financial stipend for putting up with tourist.

Kind of fun.

This is part of the famed Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim hike. While it may be the Grandaddy of hikes, it's not for everyone--the Canyon can be relatively punishing so just make sure you're prepared.

This place had quite the reputation in its day. Apparently it was where you went if you really wanted to raise some hell!

Doesn't exist like that anymore unfortunately - but there is still a Cliff House in the same spot.

agreed with peter. don't take this zoo for granted. it craps on our LA zoo, no joke. don't sleep on this if you haven't been. pay for the sky ride/bus tour, it's worth it -- see animals while you hop from one side of the park to the next.
