This plaza was built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition. It's a perfect example of the Renaissance Revival style in Spanish architecture. Scenes in Lawrence of Arabia were also filmed here.

This is such a fantastic tradition, apparently these men are known as "Castellers" and during several festivals a year they create these human pyramids. So now I'm wondering, How in the world do they get down???
